Our story
Caring for Chattanooga families for nearly a century.
Founded in 1926 and family-owned ever since, Hardwick & Sons has built its name on compassion, dignity, and the belief that every family deserves to be treated as our own.
Founded in 1926 by C. H. Hardwick, Sr., Hardwick & Sons Funeral Home has proudly served the Chattanooga community by providing dignified service to all who call on us. For nearly a hundred years, through changing times and changing traditions, one thing has never changed: our promise to care for each family as if they were our very own.
We are a family-owned and operated firm, carrying on the legacy of the Hardwick and Trammel families. Our goal has always been to bring innovative approaches together with the traditional values our community holds dear. That means personalized attention, patient guidance through every decision, and honestly priced selections you can trust.
Today we welcome families into our home on Duncan Avenue, a place built to hold both quiet grief and joyful remembrance. Whatever your faith, your budget, or your wishes, we are here to help you honor the person you love with the dignity they deserve.
